CODIMM (Coordinadora de Desarrarollo Integral de las Mujeres Mayas) = Coordinator of the association for integral development of the Maya Women
CODIMM's work as a Maya organisation is involved in the follwing areas:
- Offers loans to smallholders
- Provides schooling in Spanish ans in the Maya languages Kakchiquel, Quice and Tzutuhil
- Adult literacy programme
- Field cultivation and livestock breeding programmes
- Primary health care in the Maya villages of the highlands
- Promotion of the cultural identity of the Maya Population
- Realisation of the improvemants in the living conditions for the Maya population determined in the peace treaty of 1006
