School-Project
1997: The old school
During their first visit to Guatemala more recent members are shown the small CODIMM school. Lessons were held in a shed, boards and hollow bricks were used as furniture.
1998: New furniture and teaching materials
After the association comes into being this mini-school for about 20 girl pupils is equipped by the VIMM with so-called “pupitres”, these are desk and chair units, as customarily used in Latin American schools.
In the following years CODIMM is able to move the school into a rented building and receives teaching material and financial support from the VIMM with the number of pupils rising to 80 girls in 4 classes
